Assalammualaikum and a great day to all...
It is now a new year...and i am now in a new place..wayyyyyyyy to the north of the peninsular ...in IPG Kampus Tuanku Bainun , Bukit Mertajam, Seberang Perai, Pulau Pinang. This is my fifth month here and I am still adapting myself to this new place. Even though we are under the same ministry , there are some differences in the way these campuses go about their day.
I have spent 11 years in Ipoh without me realising it.. and this is my 12th year as an IPG lecturer. 11 years of driving through the famous Menora Tunnel in Ipoh , where lots of scary , ghostly tales were told ( but never witnessed in person) by people. Cars ,shutting off their engines when they have to stop on the highway due to a lorry on fire. Drove my own car (half awake) and kissed the back of a Petronas Gas trailer ..a RM1000 mistake.
Now however, I get to cross the sea on a daily basis .. when people ask me "where do you work" my answer would be "I work OVERSEA" and THAT'S the truth. Welcome 2024. Hope I will be better than I was last year.
